Consumer Information Reports
about Licensed Kansas long-term care homes

Kansas Advocates for Better Care offers individual reports to provide information about any licensed care home in Kansas.

These reports include:

• Facility name, address and phone
• Current and past Administrator(s)
• History of facility name changes
• History of ownership
• Three most recent inspection survey dates
• Number of deficiencies cited for each, including substantiated complaint deficiencies, actual harm and mistreatment deficiencies
• Awards and enforcement's for the past 5 years
• "Recommended Remedies" by the Kansas Department on Aging, based on surveyor findings during regular or complaint inspections
• Daily private pay and Medicaid reimbursement rates
• Nursing and Assisted Living Facility occupancy rate
• Whether or not the facility has a special care unit for Alzheimer's or dementia residents
• Quality indicators for restraint use, pressure sores and severe pain
• Non-profit or for-profit status
• Availability of Family Council

County Comparison Reports
for Licensed Kansas long-term care homes

Kansas Advocates for Better Care offers summary reports by county to help you compare information about all licensed care homes in any Kansas county. These reports include:

• Facility name, address and phone
• Most recent inspection survey date
• Number of deficiencies cited at that time
• Daily private pay rate
• Whether or not the facility has a special care unit for Alzheimer's or dementia residents

Reports can be customized to include other facts, such as bed count, occupancy rate, or average nurse hours per resident day.

The cost is $15.00 per county.
