KABC’s Mitzi McFatrich is being recognized as a WOW!

Kaw Valley OWL is recognizing Mitzi as a WOW - Wonderful Older Woman on May 6th from 2-3:30 at the United Way building in Lawrence. She and two others being recognized will speak about their stories, what each considers to be her accomplishments, influences, and motivators in her life so far and what plans each has for the future. About WOW - Our personal and societal history are filled with anecdotes that illustrate the impact one person can have on their community. It may be through civic engagement or quiet, steady action. The annual WOW program, Wonderful Older Women, is a chance to bring that home and learn more about women in our community.
