  Kansas Advocates for Better Care has teamed up with The Merc Co+op in Lawrence, and is the March recipient for their Change Program. KABC Annual Caregiver Training & Caring Award Presentation

Kansas Advocates for Better Care (KABC) will recognize Steve Howe, Johnson County District Attorney as recipient of the 2017 KABC Caring Award. Howe, a native Kansan, has served as District Attorney since his election in 2008. The KABC Caring Award is the organization’s highest recognition and is awarded annually to an individual who has demonstrated outstanding leadership, innovation, advocacy and commitment to improving the lives of older Kansans needing long term care and support.
